Pastoral Support Button
|
|
A reminder about our Pastoral Support form for student use in MyHighcliffe. We know that some students find it difficult to report worries and concerns in person so the form within MyHighcliffe allows students to raise issues which go directly to Pastoral Leaders. Please note this is only monitored during school working days but it also includes links to other organisations for help if needed. |

A team from Sustrans will be coming into school on the following dates to check bikes and make light adjustments and repairs. This will be done in a year group at a time due to the size of the school. More information will be given closer to the dates. Year 7 Enrichment |
|
There has been an outstanding uptake in the Year 7 Enrichment Activities with some excellent work being submitted. An average of over 40 students are submitting work for each challenge, with over a third of the year group taking part in at least one challenge so far!
Enrichment Activities will continue to be sent out to Year 7 students every fortnight throughout the academic year. These will be linked to different subjects and offer students the opportunity to earn commendations and prizes whilst extending upon the learning that is taking place in their lessons. Details for upcoming challenges will be sent to students' emails and uploaded as optional homestudies.
It would be excellent to see even more Year 7 students taking part and making most of the opportunities being made available to them |

Year 13 Leavers Package and Mock Exams |
|
Year 13 are working exceptionally hard as they near the end of their courses. We are all really proud of the way in which the students are engaging in independent study and the focused attitude shown by the year group.
We have launched the Year 13 Leavers package, which includes a Hoodie, Yearbook and Leavers event at the Cosy club in Bournemouth. Please see communication from Mr Scott for deadlines, payments to be made on Wisepay.
March Mock Exams The Year 13 March mock exam series will take place during week commencing 21st March. We have made the decision to NOT grant study leave for this set of mocks. Final Summer exams are fast approaching and contact time with teaching staff is vital at this final stage in Year 13. Exams are limited to one 1 ½ hour per subject. Students are expected to attend all lessons during the exam week, other than when they are in a mock exam. Students exam timetables are available to view on their MyHighcliffe. |
